Adrian Dobra PhD

Adrian Dobra is a statistician and social scientist whose methodological research focuses on the development of high-dimensional multivariate spatiotemporal models, on variable selection, on model selection, and on graphical models. His methodological work has been published in top journals such as Journal of the American Statistical Association, The Annals of Statistics, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, The Annals of Applied Statistics, Journal of Multivariate Analysis, Journal of Computational and Graphical Statistics, and Plos One.

He received a BS in Mathematics and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Bucharest in 1995 and 1996, respectively. In 2002 he obtained Ph.D. in Statistics from the Department of Statistics, Carnegie Mellon University.
