Adrian Brown is an alcohol nurse specialist RMN with over 20 years’ experience in hospital liaison roles. Between 1998 and 2010 at St Mary's Hospital, Adrian provided alcohol and drug liaison input and brief advice / brief interventions (Paddington Alcohol Test).
From 2010 at St George's Hospital, he was involved in establishing an alcohol care team for emergency and acute medical departments. Additionally, Adrian took on a liver specialist role and working closely with Wandsworth's assertive outreach team to help frequent attendees.
His other area of interest is substance use in mental health (dual diagnosis), and he is a member of the RCN’s Mental Health Forum committee.
