Adel Tavakkolizadeh MBBS, MSc, FRCS

Dr Adel Tavakkolizadeh is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Upper Limb Surgeon who provides a comprehensive upper limb surgery service including minimally invasive and arthroscopic shoulder, elbow and wrist surgery. He also provides treatment for all hand pathologies, upper limb fractures and soft tissue sports injuries in conjunction with the appropriate rehabilitation provided by a team of skilled physiotherapists. Mr Tavakkolizadeh studied medicine at the Royal London Hospital Medical School graduating in 1995.

His Orthopaedic Registrar training was at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. He has completed two fellowships including a sports medicine and upper limb surgery in Australia followed by a fellowship in upper limb surgery at King’s College Hospital. Mr Tavakkolizadeh is actively involved in research and teaching. He has numerous publications and is involved in post graduate training. He is an organiser and faculty member in several national educational and skills courses and participates regularly in GP and physio teaching programmes.
