Addisalem Genta PhD

Dr.Eng Addisalem Genta is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Ambo University-Ethiopia. He has a B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Jimma University in 2007, and an MSc in Computer Engineering from Addis Ababa University in 2011. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi in 2019. He is currently engaged in conducting research, teaching, and supervising postgraduate students in many higher education institutions across Ethiopia. Most of his research works mainly focus on the role of ICT in development, smart agriculture, e-health, cyber security, energy-aware and secure IoT systems, and energy harvesting techniques for Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks. He has published various research articles and conference proceedings in different international reputable journals.
