Dr. Adam Riegel obtained his Ph.D. in medical physics in 2010 from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. For the past 12 years, he has been a therapeutic medical physicist in the Department of Radiation Medicine at Northwell Health and received board certification in 2013. He held the positions of Adjunct Associate Professor at the Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Associate Professor at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, and he is the former director of the medical physics graduate program at Hofstra University. For the past 2 years, he served as the associate chief physicist in the Department of Radiation Medicine at Northwell where he performed clinical and administrative duties. In February, he started as the Director of Clinical Medical Physics in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Columbia University.
