Dr. Adam Power joined the Division of Vascular Surgery as an assistant professor
in the fall of 2012. After obtaining his medical degree from Dalhousie University in
Halifax, Dr. Power attended McMaster University for his general surgery residency.
During his residency at McMaster, Dr. Power also received a Master of Bio-Science
Enterprise (MBE) degree from the University of Cambridge, UK. He then headed to
the Mayo Clinic in Rochester for a Vascular Surgery Fellowship. Dr. Power’s
research interests include the areas of innovation, new products and intellectual
property surrounding medical devices. An all-around sports fan, Dr. Power enjoys
playing hockey, baseball, rugby and football.
