Dr. Adam Pourcho, DO is board certified in both physical medicine and rehabilitation and sports medicine. He received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Michigan State University and served as chief resident during his residency at Wayne State University Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He did his fellowship training in sports medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and currently treats patients at Swedish Spine, Sports & Musculoskeletal Medicine in the Seattle area.

Dr. Pourcho specializes in the treatment and prevention of sports and musculoskeletal related injuries and has specialized training in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound. He uses ultrasound to provide precise, minimally invasive treatments, such as platelet-rich-plasma (PRP), intra-articular, perineural, and peritendinous injections. He has specialized training from Mayo Clinic with the newly developed Tenex TX-1 Device (Tenexhealth.com), which uses ultrasound-guidance to provide minimally invasive treatments for chronic tendinopathies, such as lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), medial epicondylitis (golfer’s elbow) and plantar fasciitis. He also provides sports concussion management, sports and team event coverage, EMG and electrodiagnostics for neurological injuries, and Osteopathic Manual Manipulations. He is also core faculty for the ACGME accredited Sports Fellowship at Swedish Spine, Sports, and Musculoskeletal Medicine Department.
