Adam J. Bruggeman MD

Adam was born in the small town of Grand Island, Nebraska and raised in suburban Omaha, Nebraska. His time in there instilled a strong sense of community, service, and hard work ethic. His parents are both educators by training and he comes from a long line of clergy. His mentors impressed upon him the importance of lifelong learning, balancing family and work, and caring for the whole person. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Health Administration and Policy at Creighton University, a Jesuit school in Omaha, Nebraska.

While in college he received many accolades, including being selected as the school-wide orientation director for the Honors College, for the Youth Leadership Council, and for Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership fraternity. After graduating from college, he elected to fore-go medical school to pursue a Masters in Hospital Administration at Trinity University in San Antonio. It was there that he met his wife, Christen (Godwin). Together they have two children, Mia and Ethan, and a dog, Bailey.
