I was born in Santa Cruz and have lived in and around the Bay Area for most of my life. After graduating from Arroyo High School in San Lorenzo I left the area to attend college and medical school in Tennessee. After medical school I returned to the Bay Area as a resident in Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital and Research Center in Oakland
