Achim Rody

Prof. Dr Achim Rody is Director of the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics at Campus Lübeck. After the study of human medicine in Mainz, he followed after the university stations Münster, Frankfurt and Homburg / Saar to 01.10.2012 the call on the chair to Lübeck. His scientific and clinical focus is on gynaecological oncology. Prof. Rody is a member of the organ committee Mamma, the working group gynaecological oncology and the advisory board working group gynaecological endoscopy.

He is a spokesman of the continuing education committee of the German Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics and as a representative of the professional society involved in the preparation of various S3 guidelines. In addition, he is co-editor of scientific journals such as "European Journal of Cancer", "The Breast", "Breast Care" and "Obstetrics and Gynecology". His research interests include the identification of new subtype-specific predictive and prognostic markers and new therapeutic targets in gynaecological oncology.
