Abena Amoah background is in biomedical research with an MSc in Epidemiology from LSHTM. Abena Amoah completed a PhD in Immunoepidemiology from the University of Leiden in 2014 with research focused on the relationship between parasitic worm (helminth) infections and the allergic immune response. Abena Amoah have experience working in the field of biomedical research in the United States, Ghana, Malawi and the Netherlands. Abena Amoah in the Department of Population Health, Faculty of Epidemiology & Population Health and Abena Amoah based overseas at the Malawi Epidemiology and Intervention Research Unit (MEIRU) in Malawi. Abena Amoah the Science Programme Manager at MEIRU's rural campus in Chilumba, Karonga District where Abena Amoah oversee the coordination and implementation of all research activities.
