Abebaw Yohannes

Dr Yohannes is a reader in physiotherapy at the Manchester Metropolitan University. He studied his post-graduation for MSc and PhD in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Manchester. His main research interests are cardio-respiratory rehabilitation including mental health issues (anxiety and depression), quality of life, and physical disability in the elderly. Dr Yohannes published fifty-five articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented over 80 original papers at national and international conferences. He is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physician.
