Abdulrab Husain MBchB, CABP, MSc

Dr Husain has more than four decades of experience in Paediatrics. He has also undertaken further training at Birmingham Children Hospital in the UK (1995-1996) to qualify as a Paediatric Gastroenterologist. He was Chief of the Paediatric Department at Al Mafraq Hospital from 2008 to 2010, and has trained and practised at many renowned teaching hospitals in Jordan, Great Britain and Abu Dhabi.

Dr Husain has considerable experience of a wide range of children’s diseases, including rare conditions, in the fields of Paediatrics and Paediatric Gastroenterology. These range from simple acute conditions to complicated chronic cases such as constipation, food allergies, lactose intolerance, recurrent abdominal pain, diarrhoea, celiac disease, cystic fibrosis, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease and failure to thrive. He performs upper and lower endoscopies for children of any age from birth to 18 years, as well as liver biopsies, special tests for lactose intolerance and oesophageal reflux.
