Dr. Abdulmohsen H. Alrohaimi completed his doctoral studies
at Tufts University in Boston, USA, specializing in the field of
Pharmacogenetics. Upon returning to Saudi Arabia, he assumed
the role of Executive Director at the Saudi Food and Drug
Authority SFDA, where he played a pivotal role in establishing
the infrastructure for clinical trials in the Kingdom. Dr. Alrohaimi
dedicated his skills and expertise to SFDA, initiating numerous
projects and initiatives.
Subsequently, he took on the position of Dean at the School of
Pharmacy within Shaqra University for an impressive three terms.
Dr. Alrohaimis influence extends beyond the academic realm;
he chairs over ten scientific and research committees, holds
membership in various health and university councils, and actively
participates in more than 20 committees related to academia and
healthcare. His proficiency in leadership and project management
is evident in his ability to develop strategies and effectively oversee
organizational operations.
Dr. Alrohaimi has a substantial body of research papers published
in reputable, highly indexed journals. He has also showcased
his research findings at numerous national and international
conferences, both in Saudi Arabia and abroad. His primary
areas of interest encompass Nanomedicine, Pharmacogenetics,
Biotechnology, and Stem Cell techniques, all of which align with the
Vision 2030 initiatives.
Most recently, he founded a non-profit scientific organization at
Shaqra University known as the "Saudi Scientific Society for the
Application of Artificial Intelligence in Drug Discovery and Health
Research." This initiative reflects his dedication to advancing
scientific knowledge and the practical application of artificial

intelligence, particularly in the fields of drug discovery and health
research.
Dr. Alrohaimis priorities extend to mobilizing global thought leaders
to address a range of pressing global challenges, including climate
change, economic upheaval, pandemics, and growing pressures
related to food, energy, and water resources, with a particular
focus on Africa and the Middle East. He is also actively engaged
in promoting the new Global Strategy on Womens and Childrens
Health.
Dr. Alrohaimi is working to establish strong connections between
academic knowledge, innovation, and an entrepreneurial mindset to
address the challenges faced by the community. Additionally, he is
dedicated to helping individuals in building the right career path by
emphasizing the concept that "knowledge is your wealth."
