Abdullah M. Alhammad, PharmD, BCPS, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University (KSU), Riyadh, KSA. Dr. Alhammad is also serve as Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Critical Care and programs Director for the Clinical Pharmacy Residency and the Critical Care Specialized Residency program at King Saud University Medical City (KSUMC).

Dr. Alhammad earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from KSU and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences in Boston, MA, USA. Then, Dr. Alhammad completed an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice and PGY-2 Critical Care Specialty Residency at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA, followed by a Fellowship in Critical Care Pharmacy from Northeastern University/Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA.

Currently, Dr. Alhammad has an active role in academia and he lectures in several therapeutic courses for graduate and post-graduate programs, working on various committees to improve the quality of training and education. Additionally, Dr. Alhammad is dedicated to advance patient care in the ICU, percept and mentor learners, conduct clinical research, sit in multidisciplinary committees in an effort to improve patient care, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
