Abdulla M. Molokhia PhD

Prof. Molokhia obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, USA 1973. He held academic positions at the Universities of Houston, Riyadh, and Alexandria and is a current member of the Egyptian National Pharmacology Committee. He advised more than 52 Ph.D. and MS candidates and co-authored more than 158 original manuscripts and presentations to national and international conferences. Between 1996-2004, he was the chairman of the Egyptian National Organization for Drug Control and Research at the Ministry of Health. From 2004 until 2013, he chaired the European Egyptian Pharmaceutical Industries Company, a division of Pharco Pharmaceuticals, Alexandria, Egypt. Between 2007-2013, he chaired the Pharmaceutical Sector of the Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetic Chamber at the Egyptian Industry Union. Prof. Molokhia chaired several conferences organized among NODCAR, the MOH, and the WHO. As a consultant to the WHO, he presented training and consultations to nine countries in the EMRO region. Prof. Molokhia co-chaired 5 Egyptian-USP Symposia on “Science and Standards”. He acts as an observer representing the Egyptian Chamber of Pharmaceuticals with the USP Convention.
