Dr. Abdelkader Almanfi is a triple board-certified interventional cardiologist, and structural heart & endovascular consultant. He completed his undergraduate medical studies at Al-Arab Medical University in Libya. He went on to complete his fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine's Texas Heart Institute in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Almanfi is specialized in managing various complex cardiac and vascular conditions. He has successfully utilized minimally invasive technologies & trans-catheter therapies including TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman LAAC, and PFO/ASD closures. He is also specialized in treating complex aortic diseases using minimally invasive approaches, such as EVAR and TEVAR.
Dr. Almanfi is an experienced TAVR proctor, both in the US and internationally. He has gained considerable experience in establishing and building structural heart programs in Kentucky and Wisconsin. These programs work closely in collaboration with cardiothoracic surgery, non-invasive cardiology, anesthesia, and radiologic services to support and provide patients with the most effective options to manage their heart valve diseases. Dr. Almanfi is interested in clinical research, clinical trials, and studying quality outcomes. He is highly involved in education using various social media platforms.
