Mr. Abdallah Ellabban is a double-qualified consultant ophthalmologist with a subspeciality interest in Cataract surgery and Retinal diseases at Hull University Teaching Hospitals. Mr. Ellabban has performed over 10,000 cataract procedures. He is also experienced in managing cataracts in challenging situations or combined with other procedures. He uses the latest technology in surgery and offers premium lens implants.

Mr. Ellabban has diverse experience in retinal surgery and offers state-of-the-art suture-less retinal surgery for a range of retinal disorders including macular holes, epiretinal membrane, floaters, vitreous hemorrhage, and retinal detachment. He also provides intravitreal injection treatments for retinal disorders including Age-Related Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Maculopathy, and Retinal Vein Occlusion.

Mr. Ellabban was trained across the UK, Japan, and Egypt. He completed a PhD from the world-renown Kyoto University in Japan focusing on macular diseases. He is a senior lecturer at Hull York Medical School and has more than 40 publications in peer-reviewed ophthalmic journals and co-authored 2 book chapters. His research was presented in major ophthalmology meetings across the world. Mr. Ellabban was invited as a guest speaker to many national and internal meetings. He participated in over 15 multicentre trials investigating new modalities for treatments for retinal diseases.
