Aaron Rubin is a transplanted Texan with a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy from the University of Texas and a medical degree from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock . He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Texas Tech in Amarillo, where he remained as an assistant professor of Family Medicine until coming to Kaiser Permanente Fontana as the first sports medicine fellow in 1989. Dr. Rubin serves double duty as program director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship as well as academic faculty member in the residency. He has a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine from the American Board of Family Practice.
