Aaron E. Kornblith MD

Dr. Aaron Kornblith is an emergency medicine doctor who specializes in treating pediatric patients with serious illnesses and injuries. He sees patients in the UCSF Children's Emergency Department, where he is the director of pediatric emergency ultrasound. Kornblith's research focuses on the use of ultrasound to improve the diagnosis and treatment of common pediatric emergencies, including respiratory disease and trauma.

Kornblith received his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver. He completed a residency at UCSF, followed by fellowships in pediatric emergency medicine and pediatric emergency ultrasound at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland. An assistant clinical professor of emergency medicine and pediatrics, Kornblith belongs to the American College of Emergency Physicians, Society of Academic Emergency Medicine, American Academy of Pediatrics and P2Network.
