Aaron Bunnell, MD, is an attending physician and associate professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. He also serves as Associate Service Chief and Medical Director of Rehabilitation Medicine Consults at Harborview Medical Center. He received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University, studied medicine at UCSF, and is board-certified in Rehabilitation, Electrodiagnostic, and Brain Injury Medicine.
Bunnell has clinical expertise in the rehabilitation of polytrauma, critical illness, brain, peripheral nerve, and spinal cord injury. His research focuses on the neuromuscular outcomes of critical illness and COVID, electrodiagnosis in brachial plexus injury, and the use of technology in rehabilitation, with specific emphasis on the use of virtual environments to improve functional outcomes.
