Aaron E. Bond MD

Dr. Aaron Bond attended medical school at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles then completed a neurological surgery residency at the University of Virginia with an in-folded fellowship in open vascular and skull-based neurosurgery in Christchurch, New Zealand. Dr. Bond is trained in general neurosurgery with special emphasis on the treatment of movement disorders, epilepsy, and complex spinal disorders.

Dr. Bond has a PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on laser technology, he leverages his background in engineering to contribute to advancements in image-guided, minimally invasive, and non-invasive techniques and has received both the Horsley memorial award for research and the stereotactic and functional award for his research on MR guided focused ultrasound, an incisionless technology for the treatment of essential tremor and Parkinson’s disease.

Dr. Bond treats general neurological surgery conditions (brain tumors, aneurysms, hydrocephalus, herniated discs, Chiari malformations, trauma) in addition to movement disorders (essential tremor, Parkinson’s disease), seizure disorders, stimulation for pain, and complex spinal disorders (revision spinal surgery, degenerative scoliosis, flat back syndrome).
