The seminar is designed for traumatologists - orthopedists and neurosurgeons who provide assistance to patients with traumatic and degenerative pathology, congenital and acquired spinal deformities. A two-day course of study will be devoted to the problems of surgical treatment of pathology of the cervical spine with a discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of surgical tactics and surgical techniques: • When is the most effective approach in terms of nosology and is the syndromic approach appropriate? • How important is it to observe the orthopedic aspects of surgical interventions on the cervical spine? • Can anatomical features influence the choice of surgical tactics? • Minimally invasive and navigable surgery, robotic assistivity - fashion trends or necessity? • Is it possible to prevent intraoperative complications and what to do if they occur? Learning objectives: • Determine the goals of surgical approach from a position of syndromic and nosological approach • Apply neuro-orthopedics approach in planning the surgical treatment of cervical spine / Neuro-orthopedic approach in planning surgery for pathology of the cervical spine. • Apply neuro-decompression technique dep. On morphological substrate / Differential diagnosis and choice of surgical tactics for true deformities of the cervical spine and for pathology resulting from a violation of global balance • Choose a stabilization technique depending on the cervical spine / Use of neural structures decompression technique depending on the type and location of the compression substrate. • The choice of methods of stabilization, taking into account the anatomical features of the cervical spine. • To evaluate the effectiveness and possible benefits of minimally invasive and navigable surgery in the treatment of pathology of the cervical spine • Learn more about risk assessment, risk assessment, prevention and treatment of complications after surgery on the cervical spine.
