World Society of Arrhythmias (WSA)

From January 2011, the ICPES Board decided to change the name of the Society in World Society of Arrhythmias in order to better express its global interest in the field of Cardiac Arrhythmias.

The Society is established with the missions to promote worldwide education in the fields of cardiac pacing and electrophysiology, and to coordinate the activities of national an international scientific societies devoted to cardiac pacing and electrophysiology. It also provides a platform for scientific exchange among its member and other national and international organizations through hosting World Congress on Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology. It also acts as a body to advise, encourage, and, when requested, assist in promoting and coordinating worldwide education, research, and development in the fields of cardiac pacing and electrophysiology. Furthermore, it guides and supports the efforts of those responsible for the education and training of physicians, allied professionals, scientists and engineers in the fields of cardiac pacing and electrophysiology throughout the world.
