Charlotte, North Carolina, United States of America

World Class CME was established in 1999 in Walla Walla, Washington by J. Timothy Blackwelder, MD, a practicing radiologist, with the intent to provide superbly organized radiology continuing medical education meetings that featured world-class faculty. In early 2010, World Class CME came under new ownership and office headquarters are now in Charlotte, North Carolina.

World Class CME activities focus in the fields of radiology, OB-GYN ultrasound and gynecology. CME activities range from small hands-on workshops to a five-day, ten radiology subspecialty symposium. Ultrasound meetings are targeted to radiologists, OB-GYN physicians, sonographers, radiologic technologists and advanced practitioners. Gynecology meetings target gynecologists and allied women’s health care providers. Breast imaging activities serve primarily radiologists, but also include some activities for surgeons, sonographers and their allied health care providers. World Class CME activities that serve technologists are accredited by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.
