West Virginia State Medical Association (WVSMA)

The West Virginia State Medical Association is a 501(c)6 Organization serving physicians throughout the state of West Virginia. Established in 1867, the WVSMA is a physician-based organization that oversees several component societies throughout the state.

Misson:
The WVSMA advances health and promotes quality and safety in the practice of medicine in West Virginia by representing the interests of patients, public health, and physicians.

Vision:
The WVSMA seeks to serve as the unified voice for the practice of medicine and the premier authority for evidenced-based health policy in West Virginia.
