Vietnam Association of Arthroscopic Surgery (VAAS)

The Vietnamese Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy Society (VAAS) was established in 2021 by Dr. Tang Ha Nam Anh, MD, PhD, along with colleagues in the field of Orthopedic Surgery from across Vietnam. VAAS is a professional society with the objective of sharing and updating knowledge about arthroplasty and arthroscopy surgeries for Vietnamese healthcare professionals.

The society aims to foster international cooperation with related professional organizations in the region and globally, support and develop arthroplasty and arthroscopy techniques, and address related issues for medical facilities nationwide. Additionally, the society serves a social role, providing expert opinions to the Ministry of Health on specialized matters. The organizational structure includes a president, three vice presidents representing the North, Central, and South regions, and a general secretary. The standing committee consists of 7 members, and the executive committee includes 25 members.
