Veika Gorica Polytechnic is a higher education institution that conducts five undergraduate professional and three graduate specialist professional studies, and curricula are implemented with the help of modern technologies that are constantly updated, renewed and enable their students easier transfer of knowledge that will ensure their entry into the labor market. employment and advancement in business, ie existence in one of today's modern organizations.

The goal of the Polytechnic of Velika Gorica is to contribute to the general development of the education system by educating students in specific areas of the profession, thus ensuring a sufficient quantity and quality of highly educated staff. The need for education of certain staff is shown by the constant analysis of the human resources market where a lack of experts in certain professions has been established, which is why the University of Velika Gorica conducts studies that appear for the first time in the educational process not only in Croatia but also in the world. Precisely because of the different approach to the education of its students and the creation of new values ​​for the needs of the economy, the Polytechnic of Velika Gorica ranked among the first three higher education institutions of this type in Croatia in terms of the number of enrolled students.

The mission of the Polytechnic of Velika Gorica is to perform the activity of higher education in accordance with socially responsible principles and academic excellence, to create and develop higher education competent experts and responsible bearers of the future development of the social community.

Vision:
The vision of the Polytechnic of Velika Gorica is to develop into a technologically modern Croatian higher education institution competitive in European Union countries due to the specifics and internationalization of professional study programs and lifelong learning programs and academic excellence achieved on Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area. The Polytechnic will conduct specific professional and specialist graduate professional studies and adapt to the needs of today's Croatian and European labor market, taking into account that students during their studies gain the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge that will ensure easier employment.
