TOTBID is a non-governmental organization that prepares the necessary conditions for the exchange of scientific information among orthopedics and traumatology specialists working in Turkey and carries out encouraging work in this regard; takes the lead in protecting and elevating the prestige of the profession; takes the necessary initiatives to protect the rights of its members, but does not hesitate to activate its own self-regulatory mechanisms to eliminate negativities.

TOTBID aims to be an organization that brings together all orthopedics and traumatology specialists working in Turkey without exception; that pioneers the production of modern knowledge and whose production is followed with interest by the entire world of medicine; that not only develops protective reflexes in matters concerning its members but also assumes a decisive role by taking responsibility; that proposes solutions to issues related to public health and leads the way in implementation.
