Turkish Society of Gastroenterology gastroenterology working in accordance protect the rights and interests of experts in Turkey is a national specialty associations. The members are the physicians who diagnose and treat the digestive system diseases of adults.

Mission
As Turkish Gastroenterology Association, our mission is to protect the rights and interests of gastroenterology specialists, to develop clinical standards, to contribute to education and development, and to lead our people to get better quality health care.

Vision
Vision as Turkish Gastroenterology Association

• To make studies on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the digestive system, to produce policies and to provide suggestions as aids to health authorities,
• To give support to gastroenterology specialists within the country and abroad by providing support to the gastroenterology.
• To organize international congresses and symposiums to increase and update the members' knowledge,
• To actively cooperate with scientific organizations related to national and international gastroenterology,
• To promote and organize scientific research and examinations,
• To illuminate our public with various media tools to better understand the gastrointestinal system diseases, to explain the gastroenterologist's job description,
• To determine the management of the journal of the Turkish Journal of Gastroenterology and to provide economic resources for its removal, to support the studies that increase the impact factor.
• To ensure that competence boards are organized, work regularly and make suggestions and activities
• To be an institution working in harmony and coordination with the sub-associations.
• After 2017, it has solved the problems of the political authority and staff in order to reach the number of gastroenterologists the country needs. to become an institution contributing to health care. In addition, dissemination of board examinations and provision of lateral training criteria and standardization in line with the core training program are also priority targets.
