Trauma Trust

Trauma Trust is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that is jointly supported by two major independent health care systems in Tacoma, WA. They serve the two hospitals (St. Joseph Medical Center and Tacoma General Hospital) that together comprise the Tacoma Trauma Center, a State - designated Level II trauma center providing advanced trauma, critical care and emergency general surgery services for Tacoma, the Washington State West Trauma Region and beyond.

Trauma Trust is a unique partnership between Tacoma General Hospital and the St. Joseph Medical Center. They provide advanced Acute Care Surgery services which include Trauma, Emergency General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. They are designated by the State of Washington Department of Health as a Level II Trauma Center and serve as a tertiary referral center encompassing follow up care, education, injury prevention and community outreach.

Mission:
To provide expert comprehensive care in Trauma, Emergency General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care in the South Puget Sound and West Region of Washington State.
