The Hematology Society of Thailand There is an abbreviation Slit and the English name is The Thai Society of Hematology. The abbreviation TSH has been registered as a legal association since 1978.

In the past, patients with hematological diseases were rare. and is often included in general internal medicine patients Until Dr. Chai Unipan graduated from abroad and returned to serve at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital in 1934, along with bringing the subject of hematology back to be taught in Thailand. This marks the beginning of teaching and learning.

Mission:
• Promote continuous development of the quality of hematology services. and maintain standards of holistic patient care Especially access to treatment that can reduce death rates or increase quality of life for hematology patients.
• Publish and exchange academic and research experiences among members. Thailand's medical personnel and abroad.
