The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust
At The Royal Marsden, we deal with cancer every day so we understand how valuable life is. And when people entrust their lives to us, they have the right to demand the very best.
The Royal Marsden opened its doors in 1851 as the world’s first hospital dedicated to cancer diagnosis, treatment, research, and education.
Today, together with its academic partner, The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR), The Royal Marsden is the largest and most comprehensive cancer center in Europe, treating over 50,000 NHS and private patients every year. It is a center of excellence with an international reputation for groundbreaking research and pioneering the very latest in cancer treatments and technologies, as well as specializing in cancer diagnosis and education.
Our mission is to continue to make a national and global contribution to cancer research and treatment, so that more people are cured and quality of life is improved for those living with cancer.
