The Romanian Society of Ultrasonography in Medicine and Biology / Societatea Romana de Ultrasonografie in Medicina si Biologie (SRUMB)

The Romanian Society of Ultrasonography in Medicine and Biology - SRUMB is a professional company established according to the legislation in force in Romania, meant to facilitate the implementation and development of ultrasound diagnosis.

Objectives:
• Achieving a general framework for communication and exchange of experience between doctors with different specialties who practice this method;
• Identifying some directions of development of the method in the general context of the development of medical imaging;
• Stimulating training and research activities involving ultrasound diagnosis in order to increase the quality of the diagnostic and therapeutic medical act;
• Facilitate the communication of doctors who practice ultrasonography with specialists from other professional societies as well as with governmental and non - governmental bodies and organizations.
