The upside down heart shape in the logo resembles the breasts, and the two circles resemble a field of view of a microscopy. It conveys the meaning of "Our hearts are with those affected by breast cancer, and we at the NZABC® are United For a Breast Cancer Cure Through Research".
To promote basic and clinical research on breast cancer, stimulate national and international collaborations, and expedite the translation of laboratory discoveries into clinical applications, for improved treatment and life quality of those affected with breast cancer.,br/>
