The Dutch Society for Gastrointestinal Surgery / De Nederlandse Vereniging voor GastroIntestinale Chirurgie (NVGIC)

The Dutch Society for Gastrointestinal Surgery (NVGIC) is a thriving sub-association of the Dutch Society for Surgery (NVvH).

The NVGIC aims to advance surgical patient care, education and science in the field of diseases of the digestive tract in the broadest sense. To this end, the NVGIC has close ties with, among others, the Dutch Association for Gastroenterology (NVGE).
