Bergen Passaic Nurse Educators (BPNE) is a professional organization affiliated with the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD); and, it is a forum of Bergen Passaic county hospitals, long-term care facilities, college-based nursing educators. Exploring common concerns related to educational activities for healthcare providers and collaborate in the development, standardization and implementation of educational opportunities for the membership and the staff of member hospitals.

The Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) advances the specialty practice of nursing professional development for the enhancement of healthcare outcomes. Professional development as a specialty of nursing practice is defined by standards, based on research, and critical to quality patient and organizational outcomes.
