Texas Transplantation Society (TTS) was formed in 1987.
TTS is a 501 c 6 organization (business non-profit) created to provide leadership for the development, promotion, and improvement of our profession. Our strategic plan calls for continued work in the areas of organ and bone marrow transplantation, donation advocacy and education.
In 2015, members approved adding transplant professionals from Oklahoma. In addition, members approved restructuring Institutional Membership, so that now institutional membership includes ALL members of the transplant team. These members have full rights and privilege or membership, including meeting discounts, one bill for the entire institution (eliminating individual bills), and access to the Transplant Library. The cost of dues is based on the number of transplants performed in the previous year. As of October 2016, the society had more than 900 members.
Our Mission
To advance transplantation and organ donation in Region 4 (Texas and Oklahoma) through education and advocacy with a unified and authoritative voice.
