Founded in 1988, the Texas Society of Clinical Oncology (TxSCO) is the largest oncology professional organization in the state. TxSCO comprises a powerful community of oncologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other multidisciplinary care providers involved in the treatment of patients with cancer.
Mission:
TxSCO promotes the highest quality of multidisciplinary oncology care in Texas through education, advocacy, networking, and collaboration.
Goals:
• Advocate on state and federal legislative issues impacting patient access to care.
• Provide an educational forum for their members on the current technologies and medical best practices in cancer care delivery.
• Support the knowledge and career advancement of trainees in the field of oncology and create future leaders.
• Communicate changes and updates in oncology practice to their members and the broader community.
