The Tennessee Nurse Practitioner Association is the state organization that promotes and protects the practice of over 15,000 Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Practitioners (APRNs) in Tennessee—formed in 2014 by Dr. Irene Bean, DNP, FNP, a forward-thinking NP. TNNPA now has groups across Tennessee! Each group offers networking opportunities and meets quarterly to discuss issues and set organizational goals.

Mission:
To empower Tennessee Advanced Practice Registered Nurses in providing quality, accessible and compassionate healthcare through education, leadership and advocacy.

Vision:
Tennessee APRNs will be recognized as full partners and leaders in the development of health policy, provision of quality health care, and advocacy for the people of Tennessee.
