Taiwan Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (TAFPRS)

On behalf of the Society, it is my great pleasure and honor to introduce you the TAFPRS and welcome you to join us soon. The full name of TAFPRS is "Taiwan Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery", which has been established since October, 2005 in Taipei. The history was traced to the end of 2004; a group of Taiwan's specialists involving facial plastic and reconstructive surgery were trying to establish a new society. After one year later, the TAFPRS was formally established.

Our Academy has been proved to be the extremely significant academy to share our experiences and expand our knowledge in this field, as well as to refresh our friendship yearly. Moreover, the TAFPRS became one of the IFFPSS since October 2007. The International Federation of Facial Plastic Surgery Societies (IFFPSS) is a group of societies of facial plastic surgeons from various countries around the world. This Federation was formed in 1997 after extensive discussions initiated by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
