Swiss Sports Physiotherapy Association (SSPA)

The SSPA, a non-profit organisation, now has about 600 qualified physiotherapists who are specialised or work in the area of sport physiotherapy. Since 2004, the SSPA is supported by the Swiss Association of Physiotherapy (SPV), and is recognised as an expert groupd and is a member of the International Federation of Sports Physical Therapy (IFSPT) which is part of the World Confederation of Physical Therapy (WCPT). The SSPA represents the interests of its members towards the SPV, and maintains contact with the Swiss Olympic Association, with sports governing bodies in Switzerland and abroad, as well as with sports medical partners.

Mission:
The Swiss Association for Sports Physiotherapy (SVSP) specialises as a competent partner in the SPV on issues of Sports Physiotherapy.
