St John’s Institute of Dermatology was founded in 1863 by John Milton, a surgeon whose career was cut short by hand eczema. He wanted to cater to a special group of patients who not only suffered from their condition but also the public stigma associated with it. This is at a time when you could lose your job for having a skin disorder.
St John’s Institute of Dermatology is an internationally-recognized center of excellence in education and research of skin disease. It is the largest clinical dermatology department in the UK and a leading postgraduate training center for dermatologists and other health professionals from all over the world.
St John’s Derm Academy seeks to provide dermatology education of the highest quality, which is evidence-based, clinically focused, and tailored to the specific needs of those who attend Their courses. Their courses are delivered by leading St John’s Institute of Dermatology clinicians, academics, and invited speakers.
They are committed to offering high-quality, affordable educational events and look forward to welcoming you to future St John's Derm Academy events.
