The Spanish Society of Pediatric Cardiology and Congenital Heart Disease (SECPCC) is made up of a Group of Health Professionals dedicated to the study, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Congenital Heart Disease. It is mainly made up of pediatric cardiologists and cardiac surgeons specialized in surgical techniques for congenital heart disease.

The Spanish Society of Pediatric Cardiology and Congenital Heart Disease is officially registered and registered by the Ministry of the Interior in accordance with the current Spanish Constitution; Associations Law of December 24, 1964; and Law 30/1992 of November 26 on the Legal Regime of Public Administrations and Common Administrative Procedure, with National Number 167931 of Section 1.

The main objectives of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Cardiology and Congenital Heart Disease are:
• Promote the development of Pediatric Cardiology in its preventive, care, teaching and research aspects.
• Promote the study of congenital heart lesions in all its aspects.
• Promote bonds of union and collaboration with related Medical Societies, especially the Spanish Association of Paediatrics, the Spanish Society of Cardiology and the Spanish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery.
• Advise Public and Private Institutions, State Health Organizations, Social and Legal Services, on matters that affect Pediatric Cardiology and congenital heart disease of the fetus, neonate, infant, child, adolescent and adult, issuing its opinion even when not has been requested.
• Organize and sponsor Congresses, Seminars, Conferences, Courses and Meetings whose main objective is Pediatric Cardiology and congenital heart disease in all its facets.
• Ensure the rights of children, adolescents and adults with congenital heart disease, to be assisted in institutions and by health personnel, sufficiently qualified in means and knowledge.
• Advise, publish and sponsor medical journals, books and pamphlets that pursue the promotion of Pediatric Cardiology and congenital heart disease, the scientific and social work of its associates and children's health in general. • Advise, advise, and inform the medical specialist who treats the child, adolescent or adult with congenital heart disease in those situations in which their professional or administrative status may be significantly affected, in the field of the exercise of their specialty, whatever it may be, public or private, by the application of laws, regulations or provisions of a sanitary nature.
• Propose and appoint the representatives of the Association in the National and International Organizations in which it must be represented.
