Spanish Society of Hematology and Hemotherapy / Sociedad Espanola de Hematologia y Hemoterapia (SEHH)

Madrid, Madrid, Spain

The Spanish Foundation for Hematology and Hemotherapy (FEHH) was created in 1996 with the aim of raising resources for ongoing training activities, the publishing fund and awards and scholarships, reserving the SEHH for all aspects directly related to associates and specialty content. Graphically, it is said that the SEHH and the FEHH are like two sides of the same coin and action will be taken through one or the other depending on the objectives established for each activity. Currently, the FEHH is in charge of the organization of the National Congress and the development of the External Quality Assurance Program in Hematology, in addition to ongoing training, the editorial fund and awards and scholarships.

The Spanish Society of Hematology and Hemotherapy (SEHH) is a scientific entity that integrates nearly 2,800 hematologists and professionals from related specialties, with the MISSION of ensuring the adequate development of the specialty of Hematology and Hemotherapy in Spain. To this end, its activity is fundamentally focused on raising the professional, teaching and research level of its specialists and, therefore, on the continuous improvement of the quality of care that these health professionals provide to their patients.
