The SEC is a non-profit scientific and professional organization dedicated to increasing the state of knowledge about the heart and circulatory system, advancing the prevention and treatment of its diseases, as well as improving the survival and quality of life of heart patients.
The objectives of the Spanish Society of Cardiology are the following:
• Lead the knowledge on cardiovascular conditions.
• Contribute to international research, especially European and Latin American.
• Create national and international links for the development of actions and the distribution of resources in cardiovascular matters.
• Represent professionals interested in the cardiovascular area. The SEC has more than 4,000 members,
