Southern Gulf Coast Nurse Practitioner Council (SGCNPC)

The Southern Gulf Coast Nurse Practitioner Council (SGCNPC) serves as an educational resource for advanced practice nurses providing care to patients in our geographical area. The council promotes professional advancement of nurse practitioners by sponsoring educational programs and supporting conferences which foster clinical excellence as well as complying with mandatory state licensure requirements and national certification mandates.

The council works to increase public awareness of the nurse practitioner role by actively participating in community health and wellness awareness events; and providing accessible, quality driven, cost effective health care in the community. The SGCNPC supports legislative activities which enhance and protect both the nurse practitioner and the consumer at both the state and federal levels.
