Objectives:
From the SETOC it is intended, as stated in Chapter II of its statutes:
• Grouping together all the professionals from the different health areas who are interested in or related to Shock Wave treatments.
• Hold your own events and congresses.
• Participate or participate in similar events organized by scientific, medical or scientific-medical societies with common interests, similar or related to the fields of application of Shock Wave treatments.
• Create information sheets, newsletters or magazines, where all communications and works are considered suitable are collected.
• Facilitate the exchange between members of publications, studies, clinical data, statistics and all kinds of useful work elements.
• Promote whatever works it considers beneficial for the dissemination of Shock Wave treatments.
• Apply to public and private entities, both autonomous, state or international, aid and research grants in the field of Shock Waves.
• Create work groups to direct, participate and / or control all their activities.

All with the aim of:
• To welcome in its bosom all those people with an interest in treatments with Shock Waves.
• Promote the study and development of Shock Wave treatments in Spain.
• Contribute to the scientific improvement and professional prestige of its members in the field of shock wave treatment.
• Advise public bodies and private companies on shock wave treatments.
• Collaborate in the scientific activities of its members when they request it.
• Collaborate with universities in the scientific and technical development of Shock Wave treatments.
• Encourage collaboration with other state and international companies.
• Promote courses on Shock Waves and activities for the ongoing training of its members.
• Collaborate with the various public and private administrations in all those aspects that are related to Shock Wave treatments, seeking their official recognition and that it reaches the maximum development in all aspects of teaching, hospital organization, out-of-hospital organization and social assistance .
• Form Commissions that determine the tests and the granting of a qualifying diploma to apply shock wave treatments.
• Try to expand its purposes in accordance with the demands caused by scientific and technological advances.

CONFERENCES AND COURSES
