Singapore Society for Hand Surgery (SSHS)

SSHS was incorporated in 1982 with Professor Robert Pho as its founding president. Originally formed as a forum for networking between orthopaedic and plastic surgeons with special interest in Hand Surgery, it has expanded its role to education of surgeons and therapists from Singapore and the region with regular lectures and courses on its calendar.

Their international hand surgery affiliates are the International Federation of Societies for Surgery of the Hand (IFSSH) and Asia Pacific Federation of Societies for Surgery of the Hand (APFSSH). Their therapy section is affiliated with the International Federation of Societies for Hand Therapy (IFSHT).​
