Mission:
Scripps Health is committed to improving the quality of health care and advancing the practice of medicine by providing high quality, evidence‐based and clinically relevant continuing medical education (CME) activities for physicians and allied health care professionals. Educational activities are developed with a focus on improving physician knowledge, competence and performance in practice, with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes.

The Office of Continuing Medical Education maintains responsibility for the planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of all continuing medical education (CME) activities sponsored and/or offered by Scripps Health in order to ensure that the requirements of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, American Medical Association and other applicable regulatory bodies are met.
